Develop and execute security initiatives, projects, and programs that protect people, brands, and assets to achieve company business objectives that align with McDonald’s vision, objectives, and values. Octavio supports the management of security matters for company-owned restaurants and field offices and provides security consultative services to McDonald’s franchisees. His favorite McD meal is the classic quarter pounder with no cheese.

Before joining McDonald’s, Octavio worked as the Divisional Loss Prevention Manager of Investigations at AutoZone. Octavio also completed a short stint of five years as a police officer in Chula Vista and El Cajon, CA.
Octavio joined McDonald’s in 2006 and was responsible for the Southern California, Pacific Sierra, and Hawaii Regions. He was promoted to Security Director for the West Division in 2011. In 2016, he was assigned the role of Sr. Manager of Security Initiatives. Octavio received the prestigious McDonald’s President Award. In 2012, Octavio attained his Loss Prevention Certification. Octavio attained his bachelor's degree (Summa cum laude) from CTU in Business Administration with a minor in Project Management. Octavio served as President and Board member of the Restaurant Loss Prevention Security Association.

Octavio lives in San Diego, California, is married to his wife Bianca, and has two daughters, Diandra Soliel (19) and Olympia Marie (16).
